Each takeover is the last successful claim multiplied by 1.5, rounded up to the nearest $0.50. Paid subscriptions never reduce this price or improve anyone’s odds.

The closing rule
Five quiet minutes before the day begins.
New reservations stop at 23:55 UTC on the preceding day. A checkout opened before closing keeps only its original five-minute hold and can never run beyond midnight. At 00:00 UTC, the final verified claim is locked into the archive.
The interface also shows your local equivalent; UTC remains the authoritative clock.

Before you claim
What am I buying?
An immediate public sponsorship period, a permanent line in the date’s takeover history, campaign analytics, and a share card. You are not buying legal ownership of a calendar date, an investment, a prize, or a refundable auction deposit.
Can another sponsor replace me?
Yes, until closing. Your campaign record, analytics, and takeover share card remain available after displacement.
Can two people buy the same date?
No. The server permits one active five-minute checkout reservation per date. It recalculates the price and verifies the date version before fulfillment.
What if my creative needs review?
Your approved sponsor name appears in a safe placeholder while a new asset is reviewed. A rejection removes the creative, not the financial record, and you can submit a compliant replacement within the stated policy window.
Are payments refundable?
Claims are normally final once fulfilled because sponsorship begins immediately. Mandatory consumer rights still apply, and an automatic full refund is issued if a valid payment cannot be fulfilled. Final terms depend on legal review and launch geography.
What content is not allowed?
Hate, harassment, sexual exploitation, illegal products, malware, deceptive claims, impersonation, trademark abuse, and other unsafe content are prohibited. Read the full acceptable-use policy before uploading.
Fair and inspectable
The browser never decides the price or winner.
Quotes, reservations, payments, ownership changes, and finalization are controlled by the server and recorded in an append-only audit trail.
